Welcome to Płońsk!

Dear Friends,
X-mas, and winter holidays behind us, second semester at school has started, and it is high time to think about summertime. Yupiii!!!! :-)
Imagine that somebody from abroad is going to visit you. Write a few words about Płońsk. Let's create our common letter inviting a foreign friend to our town. The rules are simple:

1. Every person has to write about a different thing - write about:
  • history
  • places to visit - ancient monuments
  • summer festivals
  • sports you can practice
  • cinemas/ pubs you can spend evening at
  • interesting people you can meet
2. I am the person who start and finish the letter.
3. Use informal style - you are writing to a friend which is in your age, questions (?), exclamations (!), and smiles (:-) ) are allowed.
4. You can add a photo of a place/thing you are writing about.

Let's start :-)

Dear Kevin,
I am writing to invite you to visit Płońsk during summer holidays. You can spend a whole month with my family and friends, either in July, or in August. It will be really nice to meet you. In this letter, I would like to tell you a few words about the town and what we will be able to do during summer.
